3 NBA FanDuel Studs to Target on 1/17/19
Russell Westbrook is on a roll and unlikely to slow down against the Lakers. What other high-priced players should be on your radar on Thursday?

Russell Westbrook, PG, Oklahoma City Thunder

Price: $12,500

Russell Westbrook has been a beast lately, topping 60 FanDuel points in 4 of his last 10 games and averaging 58.9 per game in that stretch.

He's averaging a triple-double for the third straight season, and that comes with league-leading marks in both assists (10.6) and steals (2.6), as well as a career-high 10.7 rebounds in addition to 21.7 points per game.

He ranks third in the NBA with 57.5 FanDuel points per game over the past month, and with neither of the top two producers in that time (Anthony Davis and James Harden) on the slate, Russ becomes especially tough to ignore.

The Los Angeles Lakers don't look like a great matchup on the surface, ranking sixth in the NBA with a 105.7 defensive rating on the season. That mark has even improved since they lost LeBron James to an injury, but some of that has had to do with their soft schedule, having played four of the league's bottom seven teams in offensive rating. On the year, their defensive rating is 2.1 points worse with James off the floor than on.

They're also allowing the league's fifth-most rebounds and sixth-most steals per game, and Westbrook's ability to contribute in areas outside of offense is especially valuable tonight.
