3 NBA FanDuel Value Plays to Target on 1/9/19
Alec Burks has been racking up the points for Cleveland but remains a bargain in DFS. What other low-priced options are worth a play on Wednesday?

Alec Burks, SG, Cleveland Cavaliers

FanDuel Price: $4,500
Projected FanDuel Points: 25.4
Projected FanDuel Value: 5.64

While the Cleveland Cavaliers’ season is going nowhere fast -- they are currently on a 10-game losing streak-- Alec Burks is starting to heat up.

The former Utah Jazz guard has scored at least 17 points in four of his last six games. He is shooting 51.6% from the field and 55% from thee during the stretch. Since December 28, Burks is posting a strong line of 14.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 0.7 steals in 32.0 minutes per game. He is averaging 26.2 FanDuel points with just one game of less than 22.5 FanDuel points in his last six -- the total he needs to reach the optimal 5.0 points per $1,000 of salary value on Wednesday.

When he played Wednesday’s opponent, the New Orleans Pelicans, a few days ago, Burks finished with 22.6 FanDuel points despite an off shooting night, going 2-for-9 from the floor. The performance is an anomaly versus the Pelicans, as they have struggled mightily to reign in shooting guards, allowing the fourth-most FanDuel points per minute to the position (0.91).
