Wesley Matthews has been relatively hard to trust in daily fantasy leagues over the past couple of weeks. Since December 20th, Matthews has failed to score at least 20.0 DraftKings points in six out of the eight games he's played. But his matchup tonight is as good as any to turn it around.

The Los Angeles Lakers have been something of a safe haven for Matthews while with the Dallas Mavericks. The 10-year veteran has scored in double figures in eight straight games against them and at least 21.5 DraftKings points in nine straight. He's shot at least 50.0% from the field in each of his past seven games against the Lakers.

Our models show his success against them continuing this evening. We have him projected for 14.7 points, 2.6 boards, 2.5 assists, and 24.2 DraftKings points -- a value of 5.6 points per $1,000.
