The revenge game motif is often overused. Some players simply don't have the drive or ability to step out of their comfort zones and deliver a huge performance against their past teams. Toronto Raptors small forward Kawhi Leonard is not such a player.

After a tumultuous 2017-18 season with the San Antonio Spurs in which he played only nine games due to "injury", Leonard was shipped north of the border to join Kyle Lowry and his new teammates. To think he doesn't want to show off against his former team tonight would be foolish.

He's taken advantage of the move to Toronto in a big way, putting up career bests of 27.3 points and 8.2 boards. He's also getting to the charity stripe at a personal best 7.6 times per game, which doesn't bode well for opponents as he hits them at a 85.5% clip.
