3 NBA DraftKings Studs to Target on 12/19/18

Which player has scored at least 50 DraftKings points in each of his past 5 games and 60-plus in 5 of his past 11 against the Sacramento Kings? If you answered me, I'll give you a hive-five for flattery, but no. That would be very wrong (though my sixth grade team did go 7-0 and won our league championship, which is basically the same thing).

Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook is, of course, the correct answer, and he's in an amazing spot to continue his dominance over that other California team. After a 27-55 season last year, the Kings are amazingly 16-14 and currently hold the eight seed in the Western Conference.

Winning, of course, doesn't necessarily mean defense, however. The Kings are giving up 116.4 points per game, worst in the West and third worst in the league. They're giving up the sixth most second chance points per game and are giving up the fifth most DraftKings points per game to opposing point guards.

Tonight's game in Sacramento has a total set at 233.5, second highest on the slate, so the fantasy points will be flying, and it would be foolish to think that they won't find their way to the guy who is averaging a triple-double for the third-straight season. We project Westbrook to score 51.8 DraftKings points tonight with upside for much, much more.
