3 NBA DraftKings Value Plays to Target on 12/7/18

You ever get something done, are really proud of it, and then your efforts have been a fruitless endeavour? Yeah, same here. I had just written up a bit on Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid and then, after finishing it, saw that's he's been ruled out for tonight due to rest.

Perhaps it wasn't fruitless after all, however. We now have a gleaming value play staring us directly in the face in the Sixers' Mike Muscala.

Muscala was already in contention for use as a value play tonight before the Embiid news--he's scored at least 20 DraftKings points in four-straight games--but the news puts him over the top.

Given that he's seen decent run already over the past week, it would not be unreasonable to see Muscala get minutes in the low 30's. Sure, Amir Johnson will benefit a bit tonight from Embiid's absence as well, but it's Muscala who can be a difference-maker for your team.

We currently have him projected for 20.0 DraftKings points, but that number has not yet been updated with the Embiid news. Expect it to rise.
