3 NBA DraftKings Studs to Target on 12/6/18

With just three games on the slate tonight, the number of available "studs" to use on your rosters is rather slim. James Harden and Damian Lillard both jump out, of course, but those two may have their issues tonight.

Harden has scored at least 50 DraftKings points against the Utah Jazz just once in his past four tries and three times in his past seven games against them.

Lillard has fared much better against the Phoenix Suns -- scoring at least 48 DraftKings points against them in seven straight. His $10,100 salary, however, means he's going to have to hit just over 50 DraftKings points to return 5.0 DraftKings points per $1,000. With the Blazers as huge favorites tonight, he may have only three quarters of run to get there.

There are other strategies available, one of which is rostering a number of guys in the next tier below those superstars. One such name who fits the mold is Chris Paul.

Paul has scored at least 55 DraftKings points in three of his past five games against the Jazz. Even his 38.5-point outing in his last game against them would be enough to hit five-times value tonight given his $7,700 salary.

We have Paul projected for 42.2 DraftKings points, making him the fourth-highest projected scorer and top value play of any player with at least a $7,000 salary.
