Anthony Davis, PF, New Orleans Pelicans

Price: $12,300

Anthony Davis continues to roll, and he put up another 60 FanDuel points in his last outing. He now has five such games on the season, while only one player has more (Joel Embiid with six), and everybody with at least three on the year has played a minimum of 12 games, compared to Davis' 10.

With at least 60 fantasy points in half of his games, Davis is also averaging a league-leading 58.1 FanDuel points per game on the season, with a bigger gap between Davis and the second-ranked mark than there is between the second- and fifth-ranked players.

Earlier in the season, Davis was priced up at $13,000 in three of his first four games, but we've since been getting him at a relative discount, not reflecting the big gap in production between the Brow and everyone else.

That's a long-winded way of saying: at this price, you play Davis unless there's a really compelling reason not to. The Minnesota Timberwolves are not a compelling reason.

While trading Jimmy Butler for Robert Covington and Dario Saric could help improve some of these rankings, the Wolves currently rank dead-last in defensive rating while also sitting only 24th in total rebound rate. The new duo still hasn't practiced, so even if they do suit up tonight their minutes could be limited, and it will likely take some time for a potential positive impact on the defense to manifest.

For tonight, we can count on the Wolves continuing to be a team with defensive and rebounding woes, making this a spot where Anthony Davis can keep doing Anthony Davis things.
