Anthony Davis, PF, New Orleans Pelicans

Price: $11,800

Anthony Davis has been in and out of action with an elbow injury recently, but he is probable to suit up against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Monday.

While it may look concerning that he has sat three of the last five games, the team has clearly been playing him only when he's fully comfortable, as he saw 41.3 and 39.7 minutes in the two contests he played.

His fantasy scores in those games were underwhelming, with 42.9 and 49.1 FanDuel points, but he has still bested 65 FanDuel points in three of his six contests on the year. His 60.4 FanDuel points per game are the most in the NBA by a big margin, and a couple of good-but-not-great showings are not nearly enough to justify a salary $400 below his previous season-low mark (and nearly $1,000 below his average salary of $12,783 in those six healthy games).

We got enough of a sample of AD's work without DeMarcus Cousins last year to be confident that scores in the 40's aren't something we should expect often, as Davis averaged a massive 60.8 FanDuel points per game in 33 contests without Cousins last year.

This game has a huge 238.0-point over/under, and the New Orleans Pelicans' 116.75-point implied total is Monday third-highest mark. This game should give Davis no shortage of opportunities to rack up fantasy points, especially with the league-leading 37.5 minutes per game he has averaged to start the season.
