3 NBA DraftKings Value Plays to Target on 10/31/18

It's Halloween, folks! What better way to celebrate than to highlight all of the werewolves--er, Timberwolves--that will be on the court tonight. It just so happens, that there are several Minnesota Timberwolves that make for excellent value plays this evening, so let's get to it.

The Minnesota Timberwolves will be without 1) Jimmy Butler, who refuses to play anymore for the team, and 2) Jeff Teague, who is out tonight with a knee bruise. With those two gone, a ton of opportunity is opening up for other players on the roster.

One player who will definitely benefit is Derrick Rose. Rose is already having a resurgent year, averaging 14.3 points, 4.9 assists, and 4.0 rebounds. That last mark is his best since the 2010-11 season. He is averaging 0.99 DraftKings points per minute.

With Teague out, he should see at least 30 minutes of run tonight. In his only game without Butler this season, Rose put up a monster 47.25 DraftKings points. We have him projected for 26.0 DraftKings points tonight, which would return a value of 5.31 points per $1,000.
