The Houston Rockets will be without both James Harden and James Ennis for the next two games. While they're out recovering from injury, one or more players will need to step up in their absence. Judging by last year, Chris Paul is almost certain to be one of those players.

Paul played 49 games with Harden and 9 without him last year. When they were on the court together, Paul averaged 18.1 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 7.5 assists. Without him, those numbers saw a huge jump to 21.1, 6.6, and 10.0, respectively. That jump in production equated to an increase of 9.1 more DraftKings points per game for Paul when Harden was absent.

The Rockets will be taking on the Los Angeles Clippers this evening. While the game has the lowest total of the night, it still stands at 218.5, so there should be plenty of opportunity for the fake points to flow.

Paul will likely have a chip on his shoulder tonight as well. Not only is he facing his old team, but he is coming off a two-game suspension for his role in an altercation with the Los Angeles Lakers.
