Anthony Davis, PF, New Orleans Pelicans

Price: $13,000

Massive price tag or not, you're not going to get through a three-game slate that involves the New Orleans Pelicans without taking a stand on Anthony Davis one way or another. If you're finding it impossible to find value, you can make a conscious decision to fade him, but on the context of tonight's slate, he's worth clearing cap space for.

Davis saw his production take a step back in the second game of the season. Of course, he opened the year with 80.2 FanDuel points in his first outing, and that "step back" was a game in which he racked up 25 points, 10 boards, 6 assists and 54 FanDuel points while playing only 27 minutes in a blowout win. Those 54 FanDuel points came with absolutely no fourth-quarter playing time.

For most other players, those numbers wouldn't look sustainable, and it would be hard to justify paying up to $13,000. That's not the case for Brow, though.

In games without DeMarcus Cousins last season, Davis averaged 60.8 FanDuel points per game and 1.67 per minute. For context, the best marks for any player for the full season were 55.1 per game (which was Davis) and 1.52 per minute (also Davis). The best non-Davis marks were 54.3 per game and 1.50 per minute.

That sample without Cousins was a sizable one, at 33 games, and Davis' absurd start to the season looks to be par for the course, not a two-game aberration.
