Fantasy Basketball: The numberFire Hoops Writers' Draft 2018-19
The numberFire basketball writers have a fantasy hoops league. Here's how the draft went.

Welcome to the numberFire Hoops Writers League draft recap for the 2018-19 season.

Every year, numberFire's hoops team puts together a 12-team league made up entirely of guys who write about the NBA and fantasy basketball here at the site. The format is head-to-head, and we use the default Yahoo settings for scoring (nine categories) and team size (13 players, 10 of whom start).

Our hope is that by sharing the results of our draft and some analysis with you, you'll have a guide of sorts to help you with your own drafts as we head into the final weekend before the NBA season. You can always peruse our preseason fantasy content, but sometimes it's interesting to see which players we would pick when we're in the driver's seat and bragging rights are on the line.

Throughout the recap, I'll be referring to our fantasy projections. Make sure you check them out and keep them handy.

Here's the randomly assigned draft order we followed. You can click on each writer's name to browse his bio and recently released content, or click on the "Twitter Handle" links below and follow our whole hoops crew for up-to-the-minute advice on fantasy hoops all season long.

Now, let's get down to it.
