Julius Randle, PF/C, Los Angeles Lakers

DraftKings Salary: $7,800

Julius Randle has dealt with some tough matchups and foul trouble recently, which has caused his price to dip $800 below where it was just a week ago and presents us with an awesome buy-low opportunity tonight. Even with a couple duds mixed in, Randle is averaging 39.3 DraftKings points over the past month and is way too cheap for this matchup.

He draws a Minnesota Timberwolves squad that is fresh off of a demoralizing loss to the Denver Nuggets, and the same one that had to travel to Los Angeles after a late-night game in Denver. Minnesota was already ranked 26th in defensive efficiency, so an exhausted version of their defense is definitely one that we want to pick on.

Unlike many non-playoff teams, the Los Angeles Lakers don't own their first-round pick, so they have no reason to tank. As such, this game is expected to remain competitive, with the Wolves only favored by four points. The over/under in this one is the second-highest on the slate, too.

Randle has played well against Minnesota this season, averaging 34.0 DraftKings points in just 26.1 minutes per game. Two of those games came early in the season, so with Luke Walton routinely running Randle out there for 35-plus minutes these days, he could easily exceed his previous totals against Minnesota. He is expected to drop 39.5 DraftKings points, according to our projections, and is an exciting play in all formats.
