3 NBA FanDuel Value Plays to Target on 3/14/18

There are only four games tonight, so it's going to be tough to roster starters at a low price. The Orlando Magic's starting point guard, D.J. Augustin, is an exception, though, as he comes in at below $5,000.

Since Elfrid Payton was dealt to the Phoenix Suns, Augustin has stepped into his role as the team's starter. He hasn't played major minutes, but he's averaging 27.6 minutes per start this year, including 28.4 over his last five games. Recently, he's had to deal with the absences of Evan Fournier and Aaron Gordon, which has, on average, caused his FanDuel points per minute to spike to 0.82 without them and the departed Payton.

If you're doing math, Augustin would need to play roughly 27.4 minutes to reach five-times value at his price. His chances of doing that are just a little bit better given the location and matchup. Augustin's at home for this one, and he's shot the ball much better within the confines of the Amway Center -- his true shooting (63.5%) is nearly 4% higher there than on the road. Facing a Milwaukee Bucks team that's rated in the middle-of-the-pack in defensive rating (106.3) bodes well for a respectable floor.
