5 NBA FanDuel Value Plays to Target on 2/28/18
With Michael Kidd-Gilchrist going down on Tuesday, Jeremy Lamb could be in for a start against the Celtics. Who else is worth a look tonight?

Yogi Ferrell, PG, Dallas Mavericks

FanDuel Price: $4,300
Projected FanDuel Points: 18.7
Projected FanDuel Value: 4.36

Tonight, there's a lot of mid-priced point guards to consider between $5,100 and $6,500. But, barring some injury news, those guys probably won't get you access to Anthony Davis, James Harden or Russell Westbrook. If you want to pay up for their limitless ceilings, Yogi Ferrell can help you do just that.

Since the All-Star break, we've seen Ferrell take on a larger role for the tanking Mavs. He's played at least 30 minutes in all three games, and he's averaging 11.7 points on 9.7 shot attempts and 44.9% shooting (37.5% from three). However, his peripherals -- 3.3 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 2.3 steals -- have provided him with the biggest boost in production.

At first glance, Ferrell draws a tough matchup with Westbrook and a Oklahoma City Thunder team ranked eighth against point guards. But, according to Basketball Reference, Ferrell's played 65% of his minutes at shooting guard and only 16% at the point this season. OKC's third-worst versus shooting guards over the last five, making him a nice play below $5,000.
