3 NBA DraftKings Studs to Target on 2/23/18
With increased playing time and a great matchup against the Dallas Mavericks, Julius Randle is in a great spot for production. Which other high-priced NBA players are worth targeting in Friday's DFS contests?

Damian Lillard, PG, Portland Trail Blazers

DraftKings Salary: $8,700

Hopefully a matchup against a stingy Utah Jazz defense keeps Damian Lillard's ownership down, because the All-Star point guard has destroyed Utah over the past two seasons. In four games that were not blowouts during this period of time, Lillard has averaged a whopping 62.8 DraftKings points against Utah. He's averaged 36 points and 55.4 DraftKings points in two meetings with Utah this season, and he was red-hot heading into the All-Star break, averaging 59.8 DraftKings points in his three most recent games.

Despite this, Lillard's price tag remains below $9,000. The only player priced above $6,000 who has hit five-times their salary-implied value at a higher frequency than Lillard (56.9%) is LeBron James (57.9%).

Our projections agree that Lillard is just way too cheap today, listing him as one of just three players priced above $8,000 expected to reach five-times their salary-implied value. He is a viable play in any format, and one that will likely carry lower ownership than he should because of the matchup.
