3 NBA DraftKings Studs to Target on 2/12/18
Zach LaVine finds himself in a great opportunity for production against the Orlando Magic. Which other high-priced NBA players are worth targeting for Monday's DFS contests?

Anthony Davis, PF/C, New Orleans Pelicans

DraftKings Salary: $11,400

Coming off a couple duds, Anthony Davis went completely nuclear his last time out, posting 87.75 DraftKings points in a double-overtime game. That, coupled with an advantageous game script, make Davis stand out as easily the top projected stud on tonight's slate. The over/under in this one is the second-highest on the slate, and the New Orleans Pelicans have the fourth-highest implied team total among teams with a single-digit spread.

This is also a matchup that Davis has absolutely dominated in the past. Heading into this season, he had averaged an obscene 65.6 DraftKings points in six games against the Detroit Pistons over the past three years. In his first meeting with them this season, Davis didn't top the 50-DraftKings-point mark, but that was the product of a blowout. He averaged 1.8 DraftKings points per minute in his 26 minutes in that game while shooting 12-of-14 from the floor. He was able to put up that level of ridiculous per-minute efficiency, even with DeMarcus Cousins in the lineup, so he definitely has the upside to crush tonight if this game remains competitive.

The price tag is restrictive, but he is still worth a look in any format on a slate with plenty of value plays. We've seen the type of upside Davis has, especially in this matchup, so make sure you have some exposure tonight.
