3 NBA DraftKings Value Plays to Target on 2/2/18
Jarrett Allen finds himself in a good spot against the Los Angeles Lakers. Which other low-cost NBA players are worth targeting in Friday's DFS contests?

Jayson Tatum, SF/PF, Boston Celtics

DraftKings Salary: $5,900

The Boston Celtics will be without Kyrie Irving, Marcus Morris, Marcus Smart, and Shane Larkin tonight, which will leave loads of additional minutes to go around to the remaining healthy players. The most obvious play of the bunch is Terry Rozier ($6,600), who is seemingly the only ball handler left on the squad and is coming off a triple-double. His price is up a bit, but he is still a very strong play in all formats.

If looking for a value below the $6,000 price range on DraftKings, Jayson Tatum stands out as the preferred Celtic. He has seen one of the largest boosts in efficiency without Irving, Morris, and Smart, posting a 29% usage rate and an even 1.00 DraftKings point per minute. His assists are up slightly in those splits, which makes sense as one of the primary ball handlers behind Rozier.

As long as the Atlanta Hawks can keep this one competitive, Tatum should see 30-plus minutes and a hefty usage rate. Given his per-minute numbers, that type of playing time would be more than enough to reach value at a price tag that requires just 29.5 DraftKings points of him to reach value.
