3 NBA DraftKings Value Plays to Target on 1/22/18
Without Rodney Hood, Alec Burks is in a great spot against an Atlanta Hawks squad that's light on defense. Which other low-priced NBA players should you target for tonight's DFS contests?

Malcolm Brogdon, PG/SG, Milwaukee Bucks

DraftKings Salary: $5,000

Everyone is excited to load up on Khris Middleton ($8,700) and Eric Bledsoe ($8,200) in a dream spot against the Phoenix Suns with Giannis Antetokounmpo sidelined, but let's not forget about Malcolm Brogdon. He sat out Saturday's game for personal reasons, but is expected back today. Assuming he is in the lineup, Brogdon is in store for a sizable boost in production with Giannis sidelined. Among regular rotation players, only Khris Middleton has seen his numbers increase more drastically than Brogdon without the Greek Freak.

Brogdon's 0.87 DraftKings points per minute without Antetokounmpo is far from elite, but is plenty to crush value assuming he returns to his role of 35-40 minutes. At that efficiency, he needs just 29 minutes to hit five-times his salary-implied value -- and that isn't even taking into account the boost he should see from the matchup. The Suns have been one of the worst teams at defending opposing guards all season and could boost Brogdon's per-minute production even further.

It will be tough for him to not hit the 25 DraftKings points he needs in this spot, making him one of the safest cash-game plays on the slate. He's a viable play in any format at this price.
