3 NBA FanDuel Studs to Target on 1/16/18
DeMarcus Cousins and his huge minutes offer elite upside even in a tough matchup against Boston. Which other high-priced NBA players should be on your DFS radar for Tuesday's contests?

DeMarcus Cousins, C, New Orleans Pelicans

Price: $11,200

DeMarcus Cousins' 35.9 minutes per game is on pace to be a single-season career high, and his recent workload has been particularly big. He's played at least 38 minutes in four of his last five games while topping 40 minutes in five of his last eight.

His 1.47 FanDuel points per minute is good for fourth in the NBA (minimum 100 minutes), and the combination of playing time and efficiency has him sitting fourth overall with 52.8 FanDuel points per game. He has also shown the best ceiling, leading the league in games of at least 70 fantasy points (4) and 75 fantasy points (3). He's one of only five players to notch an 80-fantasy-point game, and has three of the top seven single-game scores on the year.

The Boston Celtics have proven to be a tough fantasy matchup this year, but with Cousins' massive workload in recent games, numberFire's models still have him projected as the day's top fantasy scorer.
