3 NBA DraftKings Value Plays to Target on 1/10/18
Bobby Portis is an intriguing value play if Nikola Mirotic is forced to sit out again. Which other low-cost NBA players should be on your radar for Wednesday's DFS contests?

Bobby Portis, PF/C, Chicago Bulls

DraftKings Salary: $4,700

Bobby Portis was a very chalky option Monday when Nikola Mirotic sat out, and with Miro doubtful to suit up tonight, we could be looking at a similar situation. On such large slates, you're probably best served focusing more on optimal plays rather than ownership, so it is tough to make an argument for fading Portis if Mirotic sits. He has averaged 22.4 minutes and 25 DraftKings points in 15 games without Mirotic this season, which is plenty at this price tag. He clearly has the upside to blow away his salary-implied projection of 23.5 DraftKings points, which we saw again on Monday when he put up 30 DraftKings points in 33 minutes.

With Portis averaging 1.19 DraftKings points per minute, he should have no problem reaching value with the potential for 30 minutes again tonight. The matchup against a New York Knicks team that rebounds quite well and has stifled opposing power forwards is a bit concerning, but at this price tag, it is not enough to eliminate Portis from consideration in both cash games and tournaments.
