Chris Paul has already been ruled out for tonight's game against the Los Angeles Clippers, and that leaves James Harden likely to play an even bigger role than usual in the Houston offense.

The differences aren't huge, but in 14 games with Paul on the shelf this year, Harden has seen a bump in both playing time and usage, with a 36.6% usage rate in 36.3 minutes per game. If we look at his minutes all season with Paul on and off the court, he has seen his usage rate jump from 33.1% to 38.8%, his assist rate from 28.1% all the way to 55.4%, and his FanDuel points per minute from 1.38 to 1.64.

The Rockets' 115.25-point implied total is by far the day's highest, and Harden should have no trouble posting big numbers against a below-average Clippers' defense.
