3 NBA DraftKings Value Plays to Target on 12/13/17
The Celtics, Magic and Pelicans are all dealing with tons of injuries. So which players stand to benefit the most tonight for DFS purposes?

Aron Baynes, C, Boston Celtics

DraftKings Salary: $3,900

With the Boston Celtics giving Al Horford tonight off for rest purposes and Marcus Morris still out, they are suddenly quite shorthanded in the frontcourt. Jayson Tatum will presumably play more minutes at the four, but dudes like Aron Baynes and Daniel Theis ($3,600) are going to be asked to play more as well. In the two previous games without Horford, Baynes averaged 28.6 DraftKings points in 23.5 minutes, while Theis averaged 19.4 DraftKings points in 19.5 minutes.

The remaining healthy Boston big men should also benefit from a matchup against a Denver Nuggets squad that is still without both Nikola Jokic and Paul Millsap and is on the back end of a back to back. Denver has seen their rebounding numbers drop from a top-five mark with those two, to a middle-of-the-pack 49.6% without them, and they have given up some huge games to opposing bigs lately. Both Baynes and Theis are intriguing plays at their respective salaries, although Baynes is the safer of the two.
