3 NBA DraftKings Value Plays to Target on 12/8/17
Rudy Gay has looked healthy playing increased minutes lately for the Spurs. Which other value plays should you target on DraftKings tonight?

Reggie Jackson, PG, Detroit Pistons

DraftKings Salary: $5,800

The Detroit Pistons return home tonight after a four-game road trip and are in a spot to prove that their strong start to the season is no fluke, as they take on a Stephen Curry-less Golden State Warriors team. The Dubs are still 5.5-point favorites, but Detroit has a decent implied team total of 103.5 points, in what should be a competitive and fairly high-scoring game.

Reggie Jackson has played quite well recently, with a 32.5 DraftKings point average on the week and at least 33 DraftKings points in four of his past six games. Most importantly, his minutes have been up -- with an average of 31.7 minutes over his past three games. In six games that he has seen at least 30 minutes this season, Jackson has averaged 34.9 DraftKings points. That is more than enough at a salary that requires just 29 DraftKings points of him.

He should also benefit from the fact that Curry is out for this game, meaning he'll be defended by the G-League call-up, Quinn Cook. Cook has some ability on the offensive side of the ball, but struggles defensively as an undersized guard. Kemba Walker cooked him (sorry) for 24 points and 44 DraftKings points in his most recent start, and Jackson should have no problem getting to the rim at will. He is an awesome tournament play on an eight-game slate in which he will likely go overlooked.
