3 NBA DraftKings Studs to Target on 12/8/17
Fresh off a performance of 80-plus points, DeMarcus Cousins is primed to stay hot against his former team. Which other high-priced NBA players are worth targeting in Friday's DFS contests?

DeMarcus Cousins, PF/C, New Orleans Pelicans

DraftKings Salary: $11,800

Anthony Davis said he'd be a game-time decision following this morning's shootaround, making this situation a bit more tricky as the New Orleans Pelicans are one of the last teams to play tonight. If we get word that Davis is out, DeMarcus Cousins is a set-and-forget play on DraftKings.

Cousins is coming off an 81-DraftKings-point performance, which is by far his best performance of the year. Well, other than the 83.8 DraftKings points he previously dropped against the Sacramento Kings squad he faces tonight, that is. Revenge narrative aside (Cousins has averaged 76.25 DraftKings points in games against Sacramento since the trade), this is just an absolute smash spot for Boogie. With Willie Cauley-Stein sitting this one out, the Kings are drastically under-equipped to defend Cousins.

They will turn to the 6'9" 36-year-old Zach Randolph and the light-footed Kosta Koufos to attempt slowing Cousins down, which should be fun to watch. Neither has ever had the quickness to defend a player with Cousins' explosiveness and skill set, and the idea of them trying to stay with him at this point in their respective careers is laughable.

Even if Davis plays, Cousins' tournament upside is through the roof. If we get word that Davis is sitting, Cousins is a must-play in any format.
