Yogi Ferrell, PG, Dallas Mavericks

FanDuel Price: $3,500
Projected FanDuel Points: 18.1
Projected FanDuel Value: 5.17

Due to a left hip strain, rookie point guard Dennis Smith is considered questionable for Friday night. While there's nothing definitive either way, the Dallas Mavericks would be smart to err on the side of caution in what is still a rebuilding year. So, if Smith isn't 100%, Yogi Ferrell could be the main beneficiary in the Dallas backcourt.

Smith was limited to 25 minutes after suffering the injury in the last game he played. Stepping in was Ferrell, who logged 34 minutes, his most since November 20th. In that time, he tallied 8 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 steal as he knocked down 3-of-8 shots and a pair of three-pointers.

He might be presented with the same opportunity tonight, and he's proven that he can produce when given the chance. He's put up at least 20 FanDuel points nine times this season and did just that in only 25 minutes Monday against the Denver Nuggets. You'll have to confirm that Smith's out, but if he is, look for Ferrell as a top-three point-per-dollar play at point guard.
