Russell Westbrook's last eight games have been absurd. He's averaging 58.9 FanDuel points per game in that span and has topped 60 five times (including 65-plus in four). There are only six players in the NBA who have posted at least 60 FanDuel points five times over the whole season, let alone within the last three weeks.
He has averaged 38.2 minutes per game with a 36.0% usage rate in that stretch, and while there honestly isn't a ton of room for his workload to improve, it's also unlikely to get any smaller tonight as the Oklahoma City Thunder will be playing without Paul George (calf), who has a 25.4% usage rate in 37.1 minutes per game this year. Westbrook has seen his usage rate jump from 31.4% in minutes played with George to an absurd 48.2% when George is off the floor
Westbrook brings all of those encouraging factors into a terrific matchup against a Brooklyn Nets team that plays at a top-five pace, ranks bottom-10 in defensive rating, and has allowed the league's sixth-most FanDuel points per game to opposing point guards.
