Ben Simmons has been producing some outstanding fantasy numbers recently, topping 50 FanDuel points in five of his last six and getting over 60-plus points twice. He has been filling up every area of the box score in his rookie season, averaging 18.7 points, 9.5 rebounds, 7.2 assists, and 2.1 steals in 35.4 minutes per game. His playing time has also increased recently, playing at least 37 minutes in five of his last seven games.

Already a terrific fantasy producer, Simmons becomes especially appealing tonight with Joel Embiid (rest) already ruled out.

Per NBAWowy, Simmons' usage rate jumps from 22.1% with Embiid on the floor to 31.5% in the 279 minutes he's played without him. With all this in mind, even a matchup with a strong Boston Celtics isn't concerning, especially because of Simmons' ability to contribute huge peripheral numbers. He doesn't need to have a lot going offensively to post a respectable fantasy score, giving him a great floor.
