LeBron James, SF/PF, Cleveland Cavaliers

DraftKings Salary: $11,400

LeBron James is coming off of a monster 77-DraftKings-point performance on Friday, which raised his average to 58.5 over his past five games. If you remove a 30-point victory over the Detroit Pistons in which he played just 27 minutes, James is averaging 63.6 during that span. He also had the entire weekend to rest and prepare for this important game against the up-and-coming Philadelphia 76ers.

Vegas has the Cleveland Cavaliers as 1-point road favorites, and their implied team total of 113 points is the second-highest on the slate. The 225-point over/under is the second-highest as well. The only game that is expected to yield more points is the Houston Rockets-Brooklyn Nets matchup, which has significant blowout potential with a 17-point spread. This is the game to target, and James is the first player you are going to want to get exposure to.

There isn't a ton to love from a matchup perspective, as Philly has been strong defensively this season and Robert Covington is one of the league's best wing defenders. The same could have been said about the Charlotte Hornets though, and they allowed LeBron to post his strongest game of the season. It is a pace-up game, as the Sixers have played at the league's fourth-quickest pace this season. Also, James had no problem with Covington's defense last season, averaging 62 DraftKings points in two matchups against him.

It's hard to go wrong with James Harden against Brooklyn or James in this spot, but the blowout concerns for Harden give James the edge in cash formats.
