DeMarre Carroll has enjoyed a renaissance season with the Brooklyn Nets, averaging 13.6 points and 6.9 rebounds, which are both on pace to be career highs. He's putting up 28.5 DraftKings points a night, which is right in line with his five-times salary implied value at this price (29 DraftKings points).

He would already be a solid value, but when you throw in the fact that Brooklyn will be without their leading scorer (D'Angelo Russell) in this one, Carroll really stands out at a sub-$6k price tag. Per Rotogrinders Court IQ, no player has seen a larger boost in production with Russell off the floor than Carroll. In 79 minutes without him, Carroll has upped his usage rate by 4.8% and his DraftKings points per minute by 0.31. While that may not seem like a significant amount, it would change his current DraftKings average from 28.5 to 37.3, assuming he continued to play 28.4 minutes per game.

A matchup against potentially the best defense in the league in the Boston Celtics is not ideal, but Carroll's expanded role makes him worth a long look on a small three-game slate. He's viable in all formats at this price.
