Robert Covington, SF/PF, Philadelphia 76ers

DraftKings Salary: $5,500

This is a somewhat strange slate, as there are five players with salaries of over $10,000, but very little obvious value standing out. The only impactful players missing are dudes who have been out for the majority of the season -- i.e., Chris Paul and Isaiah Thomas -- meaning you're just going to have to find players who are underpriced.

That brings us to Robert Covington, who is, indeed, underpriced. His salary is actually $500 cheaper than it was when the month opened -- despite averaging 35.6 DraftKings points during that span -- and is at a point which requires just 27.5 DraftKings points of Covington to reach five-times his salary implied value. Not only is he underpriced, but this matchup fits Covington's skill set quite well.

Nearly half of Covington's DraftKings production (14.25 points per game, or 47.3% of his DraftKings average) comes off of three-pointers and steals. The Sacramento Kings have allowed the third-most made three pointers per game this season after allowing the second-most last season. Their sloppy brand of basketball has led to 8.6 steals per game for their opponents, the eighth-most in the NBA. Covington should thrive in this tilt and is one of the few salary-relieving options with big upside. He is a strong play on this five-game slate.
