3 NBA DraftKings Value Plays to Target on 10/31/17
The Nets-Suns game features two teams that are playing at a faster pace than anyone in the league. Which value plays can we target from that matchup?

Stanley Johnson, SG/SF, Detroit Pistons

DraftKings Salary: $4,300

The minutes have never been a concern for Stanley Johnson, who is a better real-life player than fantasy player. The issue has been his lack of production with those minutes. He's been more active lately, though, averaging 24.9 DraftKings points in 36 minutes over his past three games. That may not seem like much, but Johnson only needs 21.5 DraftKings points to reach five-times his salary implied value on Tuesday.

While the Los Angeles Lakers have been better defensively, this team ranked dead last in defensive efficiency last season. Brandon Ingram, who will likely spend lots of time matched up with Johnson, ranked 71st among 74 qualified small forwards in defensive real plus-minus as a rookie.

This is also a significant pace-up game for the Detroit Pistons, as the Los Angeles Lakers have played at the fourth-quickest pace. With all this going in his favor, Johnson is a strong value play for cash games. The upside is limited, but he shouldn't have trouble reaching value at this price.
