Ranking Larry Bird's 13 NBA Seasons
The Hall of Famer enjoyed some great seasons in his time in the NBA, but which one was his best?

13. 1988-89

You couldn't call this much of a season for Bird. After having bone spurs removed from both of his heels, his season ended having played just six games. He averaged a career-low 19.3 points per game in 31.5 minutes per game.

In the shortened season, Bird was clearly affected by his heel issues. He averaged just .129 win shares per 48 minutes and tallied 0.5 win shares -- both career worsts for the then 32-year-old. This was the lone season Bird failed to make the All-Star Game.
