Kyrie Irving and the Cleveland Cavaliers come into tonight's matchup with the Detroit Pistons with thethird-highest implied team total (111.25 points). This will be a rare pace-down game for Cleveland, but it shouldn't affect their outlook much.

According to the RotoViz Game Splits App, Irving has performed noticeably better in positive game scripts this season, averaging 39.6 FanDuel points when playing with an implied team total of at least 111 points, as opposed to 36.9 in all other games. With an over/under of at least 215 points, that average has jumped to 40 FanDuel points.

He should also benefit from the matchup against Detroit, who has allowed the 11th-most FanDuel points to opposing point guards. Reggie Jackson profiles as one of the worst individual defenders at the position, ranking 82nd among 89 qualified point guards in defensive real plus-minus (DRPM).

Given the advantageous matchup and game script, along with Irving's current role for the Kevin Love-less Cavs, he grades out as one of the best point guard plays on the slate. He is a terrific play in all formats.
