Tristan Thompson, C, Cleveland Cavaliers

FanDuel Price: $6,400

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

Tristan Thompson is rarely a popular option, and with center being one of the few deep positions on tonight's three-game slate, that isn't likely to change tonight.

Why You Should Use Him:

Thompson has played quite well recently, averaging 29.5 FanDuel points in 35.8 minutes per game over his past six. He should have every opportunity to keep seeing an expanded role tonight as the Cleveland Cavaliers take on the Minnesota Timberwolves without Kevin Love.

Per NBAwowy.com, Thompson has played much better with Love off the court this season, averaging 0.86 FanDuel points per minute without him, as opposed to 0.77 with him. He's also seen his rebounding rate climb from 17% with Love to 19.1% without him.

Tonight, he will due battle with Karl-Anthony Towns, who has been a complete liability on the defensive end this season. Towns ranks dead last among 70 qualified centers in defensive real plus-minus (DRPM), and as a result, the Timberwolves are one of just two teams on this slate ranked in the bottom half of the league in FanDuel points allowed to opposing centers.

While usually thought to have limited upside due to his lack of offensive ability, Thompson has displayed an impressive ceiling recently, topping 34 FanDuel points in four of his past eight games. He is an excellent leverage play in tournaments tonight with others likely focusing their attention on LeBron James and Kyrie Irving.
