3 Under-the-Radar Daily Fantasy Basketball Plays for 2/8/17
Dennis Schroder has struggled with inconsistency this season, but everything points to a big game tonight against the Denver Nuggets. Who else is likely to fly under the radar?

Rudy Gobert, C, Utah Jazz

FanDuel Price: $7,800

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

It should come as no surprise that on a 12-game slate, there feels like a million different ways to go with your one center spot on FanDuel. With the Utah Jazz projected for the third-lowest implied team total (102.75) and the lowest over/under by a wide margin, it seems unlikely Rudy Gobert is on the daily fantasy radar for many tonight.

Why You Should Use Him:

Gobert has played quite well recently, averaging 37.1 FanDuel points over his past five games. He'll look to keep the good times rolling against a New Orleans Pelicans team that has allowed the 11th-most FanDuel points per game to opposing centers.

New Orleans has struggled specifically against centers who crash the glass, allowing a league-high 17.1 boards per game to the position. They've been exposed on the glass as a whole this season, ranking second-to-last in rebounding rate. Gobert ranks seventh in rebounding rate and fifth in rebound per game (12.5), so he should clean up the glass in this one.

Gobert is a fine option in all formats and shouldn't have much trouble reaching value at his price. The potential for low ownership is just an added bonus.
