Daily Fantasy Basketball Game Scripts to Target on 2/6/17
The New Orleans Pelicans have the highest implied team total on Monday's NBA DFS slate in what should be an up-tempo matchup against the Phoenix Suns. What does that mean for Jrue Holiday's outlook?

There are tons of teams in great spots on tonight's exciting 11-game slate, but none more so than Jrue Holiday and the New Orleans Pelicans. New Orleans is projected for a slate-leading 113 points against the Phoenix Suns, which is a 10-point increase from their season scoring average. The game is expected to remain competitive, with a 5-point spread, and the 221-point over/under is the largest on the slate.

Holiday has enjoyed an excellent recent run of play, topping 40 FanDuel points in four of his past five games, and he should carry his momentum into tonight's high-scoring affair. Per the RotoViz Game Splits App, Holiday has performed much better when playing with positive game scripts over the past two seasons.

Before we dig into his numbers, it's important to keep in mind that Holiday has seen limited minutes in several games during this period due to injuries, which tends to skew the data. To get a more accurate representation of how certain game scripts have impacted his performance, the following numbers will all be representative of games where he has played at least 30 minutes (he's averaging 37.8 minutes per game in his past five), while also matching the criteria of the split.

In games he has played in with an over/under of at least 215 points over the past two seasons, Holiday has averaged 39.3 FanDuel points. When his team has an implied total of at least 110 points, he has averaged 38.8 FanDuel points. If history is any indicator, he should thrive in this up-tempo game.
