3 Under-the-Radar Daily Fantasy Basketball Plays for 1/30/17
Andre Drummond has dominated the Celtics this season, but with plenty of centers in good matchups, he should go underowned.

Andre Drummond, C, Detroit Pistons

FanDuel Price: $8,000

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

If playing on the All Day slate, you not only have Karl-Anthony Towns to choose from among top priced centers but also DeMarcus Cousins. Even if you're only playing the Main Slate and are fading Towns, both Marc Gasol and Hassan Whiteside are also in excellent spots.

Andre Drummond hasn't been the fantasy force he was last season and hasn't been an overly popular daily fantasy option as a result. With a center player pool that is very top-heavy, it isn't likely that changes today.

Why You Should Use Him:

In his most recent game, Drummond looked like the monster we grew accustomed to last season, posting 17 points, 20 rebounds, and 51.5 FanDuel points. The league leader in rebounding rate (24.8%) has been an absolute beast on the glass recently, averaging 15.2 boards over his past five games.

He should continue to eat glass tonight as he takes on the Boston Celtics, who rank 26th in rebounding rate as a team. Boston also has allowed the sixth-most blocks to their opponents and the fourth-most points to bigs in the pick and roll, both areas in which Drummond excels. Given the numbers just presented, it should come as no surprise that they have given up the seventh-most FanDuel points per game to opposing centers this season.

In two meetings with the Celtics this season, Drummond has taken advantage of their weaknesses, averaging 20 points, 17 rebounds, and 43.4 FanDuel points. He won't see nearly the ownership that some of the aforementioned centers will tonight, but this matchup gives him every bit as much upside to crush value at his price.
