Daily Fantasy Basketball Game Scripts to Target on 1/11/17
Kyrie Irving has a great individual matchup against Damian Lillard, and the Cleveland Cavaliers boast the highest implied team total on the slate.

Karl-Anthony Towns, C, Minnesota Timberwolves

FanDuel Price: $9,500

Karl-Anthony Towns is easily the most expensive center on today's slate, but history suggests he may be worth every penny in this game script. Towns and the Minnesota Timberwolves have an implied team total of 107.5 points -- which is 4.5 points higher than their season scoring average -- against the Houston Rockets. This game also has an over/under of 218 points, the second-highest on the slate.

Per the RotoViz Game Splits App, Towns has seen a big boost in production when playing in similar game scripts over the past two seasons. In 43 games in which the Wolves had at least a 107.5-point implied total, Towns has averaged 21.5 points, 11.3 rebounds, and 40 FanDuel points, which is up from averages of 17.9 points, 10.3 boards, and 35.9 FanDuel points in all other games.

He's fared even better when playing in shootouts, averaging 44.7 FanDuel points in games with at least a 218-point over/under over the past two seasons. He's averaged 51.2 FanDuel points in such games this season.

Houston has been solid on the glass as a team this season, posting the sixth-highest rebounding rate. However, since the loss of Clint Capela, their bigs have struggled a bit inside. Montrezl Harrell has taken most of Capela's minutes, and Harrell ranks 51st among 58 qualified centers in rebounding rate, and his -0.05 real defensive plus-minus ranks 60th among 70 qualified centers.
