To the surprise of nobody, Russell Westbrook flirted with a triple-double in his first game this season, scoring 32 points with 12 boards and 9 assists, good for 57.9 FanDuel points.

Westbrook has already shown tremendous fantasy upside when Kevin Durant was out of the lineup. averaging 30.5 points, 9.2 assists, 7.8 rebounds and 2.2 steals (good for 53.7 FanDuel Points) in 27 games without KD in the 2014-2015 season. With Durant off the floor over the last two seasons, Westbrook's usage rate has been north of 40%, and his big results on opening night came with a 31% usage rate.

He draws an up-tempo matchup today against a Phoenix Suns team that ranked fourth in the NBA in pace last season, and should have no trouble producing against the squad that allowed the league's most fantasy points to point guards in the 2015-16 season.
