Tommy Pham tackling Tampa Bay's cleanup role Monday
Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Tommy Pham is starting in left field and batting cleanup against right-hander Jonathan Holder and the New York Yankees in Monday's series opener.
Pham went 1-for-2 with a pair of walks, a stolen base, and 2 runs scored while batting second in the Rays’ 5-2 win over the Blue Jays on Sunday. Matt Duffy will man the hot corner and take over in the two-hole.
