Orioles expected to fire Buck Showalter at season's end
The Baltimore Orioles are not expected to bring back manager Buck Showalter next season, as reported by Bob Nightengale of USA Today.
Showalter's contract expires at the end of the season, and the O's expectedly are not bringing him back. Baltimore currently owns the worst record in baseball at 44-108. His has gone 666-677 in nine seasons with the O's. Showalter was the 2014 AL Manager of the Year as he led Baltimore to a 96-66 record.
