Los Angeles Angels outfielder Mike Trout is starting in center field and batting third versus right-hander Edwin Jackson and the Oakland Athletics on Thursday.
Trout will move down a spot in the order after going 0-for-3 with a strikeout while batting second in Wednesday's 10-0 loss to the Athletics.
