Detroit Tigers first baseman Jim Adduci is hitting fifth versus left-hander Gabriel Moya and the Minnesota Twins on Monday.
Adduci went 1-for-3 with a go-ahead 3-run bomb while batting out of the cleanup spot to carry the Tigers past the Cleveland Indians on Sunday. The 33-year-old veteran is slashing .280/.301/.420 with 3 taters, 20 RBI, and 17 runs across 158 plate appearances in the bigs this year.
