New York Mets catcher Tomas Nido is starting versus the Miami Marlins in Game 1 of Wednesday's doubleheader.
Nido will catch right-hander Zack Wheeler and bat eighth versus Marlins righty Trevor Richards. Kevin Plawecki will be available off the bench. Devin Mesoraco (back, neck) remains sidelined.
