Reds' Preston Tucker optioned to Triple-A Louisville
Cincinnati Reds outfielder Preston Tucker has been optioned to Triple-A Louisville.
What It Means:
Joey Votto (leg) is back from the disabled list, so the Reds needed to open a spot on the roster. Tucker was batting .189/.286/.378 through his first 17 games with the Reds after being acquired from the Atlanta Braves at the deadline. Phillip Ervin will take his spot in left field on Thursday afternoon versus the Milwaukee Brewers.
Tucker is averaging 5.0 FanDuel points in 79 major-league outings this season.
