James Paxton (forearm) on track to return to Seattle's rotation on Saturday
Seattle Mariners pitcher James Paxton (forearm) is on track to return to the rotation Saturday against the Oakland A's.
Paxton has been out since August 14 with a forearm contusion, so he will miss just under three weeks after being hit in the arm by a comebacker. With Marco Gonzales on the DL, Felix Hernandez is likely to remain in the Mariners rotation when Paxton returns.
Paxton owns a 3.68 ERA, 1.11 WHIP, and 176 strikeouts in 139 1/3 innings (24 starts) this season.
