Tigers' Artie Lewicki to undergo Tommy John surgery
Detroit Tigers pitcher Artie Lewicki is scheduled to undergo Tommy John surgery next week.
What It Means:
This will be Lewicki's second Tommy John procedure, and it'll sideline him for all of 2019.
The 26-year-old right-hander recorded a 4.89 ERA with 30 strikeouts across 38 2/3 innings in three starts and 10 relief appearances for the Tigers this season.
