Update: Jose Abreu out for White Sox Tuesday due to abdominal pain
Chicago White Sox first baseman Jose Abreu was scratched from Tuesday's lineup against the Minnesota Twins due to lower abdominal pain.
Abreu is being treated after arriving at the ballpark in discomfort on Tuesday. He's been scorching over the past 26 games, slashing .350/.400/.699 with 9 home runs, 9 doubles, and 26 RBI across 115 plate appearances. Matt Davidson will fill in at first base and Daniel Palka will play designated hitter for the White Sox on Tuesday night against the Twins.
